A compact between practitioner and AI.

Seven principles. Two oaths. A set of commitments you make to yourself, your collaborators, and the people who rely on your work.

PRINCIPLE 1

I will never advance what I cannot explain.

PRINCIPLE 2

I will earn my confidence, not borrow it.

PRINCIPLE 3

I will direct the tool — it accelerates, I decide.

PRINCIPLE 4

I will make my reasoning visible, not just my results.

PRINCIPLE 5

I will never rush what I haven’t measured.

PRINCIPLE 6

I will put my name on what I produce — and mean it.

PRINCIPLE 7

I will carry context forward so the next person doesn’t start from zero.

The work must be understood by the person responsible for it, traceable by anyone who inherits it, and governed proportionally to its consequences.

Anything can produce. Only I can care.
